about

i made this album over the course of maybe six months but mainly in the span of two weeks.

after releasing my first album, wet season, i ran into a a creative dry spell. it just sucked all the life out of me, and i barely created anything for half a year. then, as an effort to stop this dry spell i made track two off this album (originally called Sprout and Journey Forward) and i sent it to a friend only for them to say it sucked.

that discouraged me quite a bit, but i came back to it later on down the line and relistened and came to the realisation that i shouldnt make my music for anyone other than myself, so thats what i did. i liked the song, what else should matter. i made the rest of the tracks only with the intention of scratching my own brain. if you like the album, cool. if you dont, i do not really care. this is just what i want to listen to, so its what i made. all i thank you for is just listening.

this album was made with only ableton live 11 standard and an m-audio oxygen pro mini. if it sounds rough and choppy that was done on purpose, i quite like the trash collage (as i have coined it) of helen love, and she was my main inspiration for the album. listen to her music.
